I am an extrovert who trained as a social worker, therapist, teacher, and qualitative researcher (essentially, working with words and stories rather than numbers). Being interested in others’ stories and helping them make meaning of their stories is my life’s work. I connect easily with a diversity of people and operate from a place of unconditional positive regard. I enjoy placing a loved one’s story within a social and political context. I’m thrilled to bring these skills to Your History MN. My lifelong best friend has always said, “Your dream job would be an activities director in a retirement community.” And honestly, I think she’s right.
